December 5th, 2005:

I am SO excited for the Holidays! Our apartment is so festive... complete with a Christmas tree, fake presents, a menorah in the window, our decorated coffee table, ribbon and garland over our window covering, candles, and a pine-scented air freshener! Not to mention the lights I just put on our balcony railing and in my room...

Finals are drawing near, and so we're all strung out. But the end of a tough semester (for me and my roommies) is near the end! At last! Finally, we will be able to breathe the fresh, crisp air of freedom. We will go home to our families and enjoy the warmth as the cold outside ushers us indoors. It really is a special time of year... I am thankful for my roommates-- my friends, my loved ones. They carry us through the tough times, and brighten our lives with laughs and good times. Relish in this season! Take it for all it's worth, and you will truly know happiness.
