Random Thoughts (2/13/06)
(Note: I was extremely jazzed on coffee. I had a SEVERE case of randomness.)
Prospective experiment: effectiveness of car horn tone. Is a B flat more
effective than a G? What if cars had interesting melodies play, like phones
have ring-tones? Do you think those would be more effective at getting
peoples’ attention, or would they be more distracting and prone to misused?
We had quite an interesting bus ride today. The bus driver was actually
directing people to move towards the back doors for exiting, while letting
people come in through the front more easily. It was effective—but quite
shocking! Human interaction on a bus ride, let alone from the bus driver??
Unheard of!
